What began as raw, densely wooded land is now a thriving, family-run campground—thanks to 7G Construction’s full-scope site development. From the first tree cleared to the last utility line buried, every inch of Big Tex Campgrounds has been thoughtfully built from the dirt up with a deep respect for the land and the experience of future guests.

This project wasn’t just about building a business—it was about creating a space where people could unplug, unwind, and feel like part of something bigger.

Scope of Work Included:

Full Land Clearing: Selectively removed thick brush and trees while preserving natural shade, privacy, and the Texas charm

Roads & Pads: Cut and graded internal roads, RV pads, and common areas to create flow and functionality across the property

Utility Infrastructure: Installed underground water, septic, and electrical systems across all sites—built to code and built to last

Custom Fabrication & Structures: Designed and welded fire pits, picnic tables, water stands, and signage with durable, handmade touches

Drainage & Erosion Management: Engineered runoffs and built up critical areas to ensure longevity and low maintenance

Ongoing Improvements: Currently adding a dog park, primitive tent sites, improved parking, and additional drainage solutions as part of the campground’s next growth phase
